Job summary

Rem Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking a caregiver in Minnesota to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live well. You’ll assist with daily activities, personal hygiene, and community participation, working 2:00 pm–10:00 pm Wed, Thu, Fri and every other weekend.

We offer competitive pay of $16.40 per hour, full benefits for full-time employees including a 401(k) with a 3% company match, paid time off, and strong supervisory support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with developmental goals.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in activities they enjoy.
• Provide compassionate, patient care and build meaningful relationships with participants.
• Support participants in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition as part of daily living.
