Job summary

Sevita REM Community Services in Minnesota is hiring caregivers to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Pay is $17.16 per hour for part-time day and evening positions. You’ll join a mission-driven team and help people grow, learn and live well.

You’ll build real relationships, support participants with personal care and behavioral needs, and help them participate in community activities. This is a rewarding, meaningful career with Sevita.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care or care coordination preferred.
• Education: High school diploma not required.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver’s License and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges.
• Help participants grow, learn, and live well and participate in community activities.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise and nutrition.
