Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with background screening. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of facility practices, rules and regulations; supervision methods.
• Ability to maintain records, schedules and reports.
• Background screening required.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule direct care staff for campus group homes.
• Oversee work of other Support Care staff.
• Communicate with doctors, clients and families; educate on care.
• Observe behavior and participate in habilitation programs.
• Provide transport to offsite appointments; apply restraints when necessary.
• Schedule training for Support Care staff.
• Prepare reports, track leave requests, assist in staffing and programming.
• Administer medications and assist with care plan activities.
• Provide coverage in Group Homes to meet staffing needs.
• May perform security-related functions in a mental health setting.
• Other duties as assigned.
