Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in California is seeking a Care Provider to support residents with daily living activities and personal care on a Sunday to Monday PM shift, 2 pm–10 pm. The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and delivering high-quality companionship to residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, ensuring safety, communicating changes to a supervisor, and promoting independence. Candidates should have HS diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and a genuine desire to

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including TB tests).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Communicate observed changes of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
