Cogir Senior Living is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in our community. You will assist with daily living activities, promote safety and comfort, and support independence in a team-oriented environment.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA certification, high school diploma or equivalent, and current First Aid/CPR. Weekend rotation and a commitment to dignity and respect for residents are required, with opportunities for growth and full-time or

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CNA certification per state requirements, or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• At least 12 months of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience with memory care is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, as needed.
• Prioritize independence and emotional support for the residents by providing compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
• Encourage and assist with participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as making beds, tidying rooms, etc.
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
