Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. seeks a part-time campus services assistant to provide academic support to students and ensure safety of facilities. The role includes custodial tasks, guarding premises in the evening, and assisting staff and students with requests.

The ideal candidate will have high school reading/writing ability, be reliable, detail-focused, and able to follow custodial procedures. Availability for one or two semesters is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to concentrate and pay attention to detail to provide accurate information and foster relationships with students.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions to follow custodial manual, safety posters, and procedures.
• Willingness to commit for one or two semesters.
• Reliability, patience, and maturity to perform duties in a campus setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of classroom facilities and building.
• Patrol the building during the evening and secure the building at night.
• Assist staff, instructors, and students with requests (copies, directions, general information).
• Inform the Coordinator of problems related to classrooms or building.
• Move equipment and/or furniture as approved by the site leader.
