Job summary

Institute is seeking a maintenance worker to perform nightly security tasks and routine building cleaning. The role includes basic repairs, restroom upkeep, and inventory of cleaning supplies, with adherence to safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, up to one month of related experience, and demonstrate initiative, organization, and strong communication with staff and instructors. On-site campus work with a flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor nightly building security and ensure staff and students have left after hours.
• Maintain electrical appliances for safety and a secure environment.
• Turn off lights/computers each evening and close campus appropriately.
• Replace/repair light bulbs, filters, hinges, or minor plumbing as needed.
• Service restrooms and supply toilet paper, towels, and soap.
• Clean/dust offices, break rooms, and empty trash inside and outside the building.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors; strip and polish floors when required.
• Follow chemical and equipment safety procedures to protect floors and fixtures.
• Notify managers about major repairs or system needs; requisition supplies.
