Job summary

Normandale Community College is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to provide custodial services across campus facilities. The role operates on a 2:30pm–11:00pm shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, and requires physical tasks including lifting and climbing.

You'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff, contributing to equity and inclusive excellence across the college. Training and benefits support ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning agents and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and perform minor repairs.
• Capable of lifting 25 lb alone and 40–60 lb with a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide custodial services for Normandale Community College buildings and grounds.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe campus environment for students and staff.
• Follow a yearly rotation schedule and adapt to special projects.
