Job summary

Rochester Community and Technical College is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform cleaning and general maintenance across campus, ensuring a safe, clean environment for students and staff. The role includes snow removal, landscaping assistance, and supporting mail/delivery operations as needed.

Framing includes ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work Friday-Monday 12:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m., with benefits and competitive pay in a comprehensive Minnesota State system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of flooring types and maintenance methods.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and safe handling.
• Familiar with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform tasks with limited direction.
• Ability to keep records.
• Physical health and endurance to perform duties.
• Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs, with heavier limits on occasion.
