Job summary

Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State) invites applications for a General Maintenance Worker on the Moorhead campus. The role ensures a clean, safe, and attractive environment for students, staff, and the public, supporting a learning-centered community and campus operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of different flooring and cleaning methods plus appropriate agents and equipment.
• Ability to drive department vehicles with a valid license and safe driving record.
• Customer service skills to communicate with students and staff professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students and stakeholders.
• Perform restroom and vacuuming duties daily and maintain cleanliness across campus.
• Maintain carpeted areas and perform routine extraction and spot cleaning.
• Conduct grounds maintenance including snow/ice removal and lawn care.
• Set up room arrangements and assist with events as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation.
