Job summary

DePauw University is seeking a full-time Facility Services Custodian to maintain a safe, clean environment across campus buildings, restrooms, classrooms and common areas on a 2nd shift. You will handle trash removal, cleaning tasks, and building access, working closely with campus stakeholders.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in custodial or customer service roles. Strong reliability, teamwork, and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year custodial or front-line customer service experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Daily trash and recycling removal from campus buildings.
• Daily cleaning of restrooms and public spaces.
• Locking/unlocking of buildings and spaces; routine building security.
• General cleaning of multiple floors, walls and surfaces; floor care as needed.
