Job summary

The College of DuPage is seeking a full-time Custodian for the 3rd shift to maintain cleanliness across campus buildings, perform setups, snow removal, and project work in accordance with College policies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of work history; two years custodial experience preferred. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with third shift differential, and the College provides a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Positive one year work history required; two years custodial experience preferred.
• COD Training-Compliance- DCFS reporter/Discrimination and Harassment/Ethics/Information Security, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazardous Communications, Forklift/Scissor/Aerial Lift, Electrical Safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all College buildings per policy.
• Dry and wet mop, strip, wax, and buff floors.
• Vacuum carpet, spot clean, shampoo, and extract as assigned.
• Clean and dust furniture, blinds and surfaces; polish as needed.
• Perform restroom and locker room cleaning and disinfection.
• Interior and exterior window cleaning; waste removal.
