Job summary

Firestone Walker Brewing Company is seeking a Quality Technician I to safeguard product quality across production. You will collect samples from tanks, kegs, and water sources for analytical, microbial, packaging or sensory testing in the lab environment.

Excellent attention to detail and teamwork are essential. The role supports microbiological, chemical, and sensory analyses, with shift-based responsibilities and strong data reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or food sciences preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a quality monitoring role in a production setting.
• Ability to work 4:00 PM–12:30 AM shift.
• Strong data entry, record keeping, and analytical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on samples from fermentation and brewhouse.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and calibrate equipment; troubleshoot basic issues.
• Run sensory panels and release testing for packaged products.
• Prepare media, sterile water, and reagents; manage micro supplies.
• Document data and communicate findings to brewing and cellaring teams.
