Job summary

Vitalant in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Hospital Distribution Technician to process and fulfill hospital blood orders in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will verify, package, and distribute blood products with accuracy, monitor inventory, and ensure patient safety, following SOPs and regulatory requirements. Requires high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and strong customer service; shifts include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Driver's license with good driving record required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to enter and review information in computer systems accurately.
Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and perform required physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Receive, process and confirm routine and urgent blood product orders.
Select, verify, package and distribute blood products with high accuracy.
Monitor, store, rotate and track inventory and supplies.
Follow SOPs, quality standards and safety guidelines in a regulated healthcare environment.
Collaborate with drivers and hospital staff to manage changing priorities and timely deliveries.
