Vitalant is hiring a Hospital Distribution Technician to support hospitals and healthcare facilities with timely blood product orders. You will receive, verify, and prepare orders, ensuring accuracy and patient safety in a fast-paced, regulated healthcare environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, professional customer service, and teamwork, with a schedule Tue-Sat 3:30pm–12am and starting pay $20.10–$20.96 per hour based on experience. Location: Montvale, NJ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately enter, review and maintain information using computer systems.
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and confirm routine and urgent blood product orders from hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Select, verify, prepare, package and distribute blood products with high accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure product availability for hospital needs.
• Use computer systems to document transactions and manage inventory.
