This role involves supporting children with developmental disabilities through emotional and behavioral strategies in home and community settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and will need to complete required certifications within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must pass all state and federal background checks.
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families.
• Implement strategies in each child’s Individual Support Plan.
• Respond to crises using de-escalation and safety strategies.
