Banyan Treatment Centers in Castle Rock, CO, is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support our on-site clinical program. You will work 12-hour night shifts, engage with patients, monitor safety, and help deliver structured daily activities in a compassionate, trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Valid driver''s license and driving record requirements for travel roles.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of structured daily programming and group coordination.
• Build trust-based relationships with patients to reinforce engagement and progress.
• Monitor patients and the facility, conducting safety checks.
• Communicate patient observations to clinical and medical staff.
• Ensure adherence to program structure and facility rules.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and timely.
• Transport patients to and from the program and community appointments.
• Measure vital signs and conduct UDS and breathalyzer testing per policy.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement throughout the day.
• Recognize signs of clinical concern and refer appropriately.
• Keep leadership informed of relevant patient information.
• Assist with supply management, discharge preparations, and day-to-day operations.
