Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Pompano Beach, Florida is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for part-time, second shift (7pm–7:30am). You will supervise patients, ensure safety, and support clinical teams while maintaining professional relationships within the addiction treatment setting.

The role requires a clean driving record, being at least 23 years old, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred behavioral health certification is encouraged.
• Experience in substance use or mental health treatment is a plus.
• Associate degree or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and facility grounds with safety checks and coordinate with medical staff.
• Conduct vital signs, UDS, and pregnancy tests following policies.
• Provide empathetic patient support and refer clinical concerns to therapy staff.
• Share pertinent patient information with Team Leader and supervisors to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist in patient transport, group coordination, and discharge preparations.
