Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers invites a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support patients in recovery at our Boca Raton facility. You will supervise patient safety, perform vital sign checks, and assist with waivered testing in a compassionate, professional manner.

This role emphasizes collaboration with therapy staff, transport support, and activity coordination, with a focus on maintaining a safe environment and positive patient interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 23 years old to meet insurance requirements.
• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Preferred: Associate's degree or higher and experience in substance use/mental health treatment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and facility grounds for safety and compliance with rules.
• Conduct vital signs checks, UDS and pregnancy tests as required.
• Provide empathetic patient interaction and refer concerns to therapy staff.
• Share patient information with Team Leader and Supervisor to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist in patient transport, group coordination, and discharge preparations.
