Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to provide essential peer and operational support to patients during recovery. You will supervise patients, ensure safety, document incidents, and coordinate with clinical staff to maintain quality care.

This role requires a clean DMV record, age 23+, a high school diploma or higher, and preferably a behavioral health certification or related experience.

Qualifications

• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient safety and supervise facility grounds.
• Conduct safety checks and relay needs to medical staff.
• Perform UDS and pregnancy tests per policy.
• Provide empathetic patient support and refer concerns to therapy staff.
• Coordinate transport, group activities, and discharge prep with the team.
