Job summary

The Farley Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Milieu Coordinator to supervise milieu staff and coordinate direct client care during the evening shift. You will ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment under the supervision of a charge nurse.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years in behavioral health, or an Associate's in a human service field with 2+ years BH experience. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with four+ years in behavioral health.
• Or an Associate's in a human service field with two+ years BH experience.
• Two+ years experience with the facility's population preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities.
• Exceptional de-escalation and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors shift changes, assigns staff, and adjusts staffing as needed.
• Facilitates client care, programming, and documentation.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
• Trains and mentors staff during shifts; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Responds to concerns from clients, families, and guardians.
