The Farley Center is seeking a Milieu Coordinator for the on-site evening shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with rotating weekends. The role focuses on supervising milieu staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring a positive, structured environment under supervision.

CPR and de-escalation training are required, with a strong emphasis on crisis intervention and teamwork. Qualifications include a HS diploma (4+ years BH experience) or an associate degree (2+ years) in a human service field, plus

• Two or more years’ BH experience preferred; understands psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities.
• Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitors shift change activities, assigns staff, and reviews unit staffing.
• Facilitates and monitors client care and programming during the shift.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers, and charting.
• Trains and mentors staff; ensures timely documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Responds to concerns from clients, families, and guardians; maintains safety and environment.

**About the Job:**PURPOSE STATEMENT: The Milieu Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the milieu staff for all elements of direct client care during work shift. Ensures the wellbeing of clients and provides a positive, supportive and structured environment, under the direction of charge nurse or supervisor.**Roles and Responsibilities:**Job Description-$22-$27/hr Base Pay-Full-time Evening Shift 3p-1130p, rotating weekends - Tuition Assistance -Benefits- Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days -Flex Pay-Daily pay option -PTO package -Much more!**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*** Monitors shift change activities to assign staff, review staffing for the units and adjusts as necessary.* Facilitates and monitors client care and programming.* Assists the Charge Nurse with assignments for BHAs, group coverage, charting, breaks, environmental and safety rounds and codes.* Ensures the wellbeing of clients and provide a positive, supportive and structured environment, under direction of charge nurse or supervisor.* Applies de-escalation techniques to help manage client’s emotions, behavior and participation in treatment.* Facilitates the individual admission and discharge processes, as well as client transfers.* Facilitates person-centered planning process with individuals to assess and develop plans based on their needs.* Ensures proper, accurate and timely documentation of client information and progress.* Trains and mentors direct care staff during the shift as necessary, or as assigned by supervisor.* Audits individual records to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Reports issues to supervisor as necessary regarding compliance.* Responds to individual, family and guardians regarding concerns.* Reports pertinent information to the supervisor in a timely manner.* Assists with clients and covers unit as necessary to maintain ratio. **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:*** High school diploma or equivalent with four or more years’ experience in a behavioral health environment required; OR Associates Degree in a human service field with two or more years’ experience in a behavioral health environment required.* Two or more years’ experience with the population of the facility preferred.* Understands common psychiatric disorders and/or dual diagnosis and various treatment modalities of the population served.* Exceptional knowledge of and skills in verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention. **LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:*** CPR certification and de-escalation training required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).* First aid may be required based on state or facility. **WORK LOCATION:**This position is onsite and is not a remote position. **SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:**This position is an Individual Contributor.
