Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island seeks an Assistant Program Manager in Rutland, MA. The role supports youth through therapeutic activities, collaborates with the Program Manager, and helps plan programming while coordinating staffing.

Starting pay ranges from $23.47 to $27.76 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $250 MAP Certified bonus. Schedules include Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat, and a 2-week orientation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor's degree with one year of congregate care experience required.
• Degrees in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must attend a 2-week paid orientation in Rutland, MA.
• Must be MAPS certification, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programing for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
