Job summary

The Element by Westin Seattle Downtown is seeking a Bartender to join our team in Seattle. You will craft cocktails and serve guests at the bar and lounge, while providing attentive service in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a valid MAST permit, strong guest service, and cash handling proficiency. Expect evening shifts, standard dress, and opportunities within Puget Sound Hospitality across six hotels.

Qualifications

• Must have valid MAST permit.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Able to handle money and operate a POS system.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 5 hours).
• Able to lift and maneuver trays up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks according to standard recipes.
• Accept guest payments and process charges.
• Check IDs to verify age requirements for alcohol.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Balance cash receipts and record orders accurately.
• Coordinate with staff to meet guest needs.
