Job summary

A regional park district in Normantown is seeking a part-time Barn Coordinator passionate about horses and customer service. In this role, you will assist in caring for horses, support lessons, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the Equestrian Center. Candidates should have prior experience with horses, strong communication skills, and be at least 16 years old. The position offers a starting salary between $15.50 and $17.00 per hour, flexible hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus a free fitness membership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age; preferably 18 years of age.
• 3-5 years of practical experience in the equine field.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Park District at the Equestrian Center and assist as needed.
• Assist Equestrian Manager with supervising volunteers and students.
• Participate in the general care of horses and their safety.
