Job summary

Equine Tranquility Wellness Center in New Jersey is seeking barn helpers for morning shifts (7:30 am–12:30 pm) up to 3 days a week and additional Tuesday–Thursday evenings (3:30 pm–6:30 pm) to support lessons and barn duties. Experience with horses is required for the morning role, with preference for some additional experience for evening coverage.

Responsibilities include opening chores, turnout, stall cleaning, and water checks.

Qualifications

• 2-year horse experience is required.
• 1 year of horse experience is preferred but not required depending on the applicant.

Responsibilities

• Open chores and turnout in the morning (7:30 am–12:30 pm) for 2–3 days weekly.
• Assist with lessons as needed.
• Close shifts Tue–Thu (3:30 pm–6:30 pm) including closing duties.
• Sweep the barn, check waters, and handle other closing tasks.

We are looking for someone to open the barn 2-3 days during the week. The responsibilities of this job include opening chores, horse turnout, cleaning stalls, checking for clean water in the horse buckets, assisting with lessons as needed, etc. 2-year horse experience is required! The approximate hours are 7:30 am to 12:30. There are always opportunities for more hours. Pay based upon experience level.

We are alsolooking for someone Tuesday - Thursday to help around the barn and close. The approximate hours are 3:30-6:30pm but there are always opportunities for more hours. The job includesassisting with therapeuticlessons,leading or side-walking the students, showing them how to groom and tack,as well as other closing duties such as sweeping the barn, checking waters, and other minimal closing duties. 1 year of horse experience is preferred but not required depending on the applicant.
