Job summary

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a part-time Evening Banquet Set-Up Attendant to prepare and maintain banquet spaces for conferences, weddings, and events in Roanoke, VA. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and physical endurance.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down rooms, cleaning spaces, and coordinating with culinary and conference teams to ensure precise event execution, with weekend and holiday availability

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

Assemble and arrange conference and banquet equipment in meeting rooms according to event orders.
Set up and break down banquet rooms, classrooms, ballrooms, and meeting spaces for events.
Perform daily thorough cleaning of event spaces and restocking supplies.
Refresh meeting rooms during meals and breaks.
Move event materials and equipment throughout the hotel.
Bus and reset tables as needed during events.
Work with Banquet, Culinary, Stewarding, and Conference Services teams to ensure successful events.
Resolve guest concerns professionally while delivering an exceptional experience.
