Job summary

The Grateful Bread in Seattle is seeking a PM Production Baker to join our team. This role welcomes both experienced bakers and enthusiastic home bakers looking to learn and grow.

You’ll be involved in creating breads and pastries, including croissants, scones, muffins, and cookies, with attention to lamination and physical workload. Weekends and holidays include shifts.

Qualifications

• Has at least 1 year of baking experience or is willing to train a motivated home baker.
• Comfortable lifting and handling heavy items and baking equipment.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, reliability and love for baking.

Are you passionate about baking and eager to work in a warm and welcoming environment? The Grateful Bread is looking for a dedicated PM Production Baker to join our team. Whether you’re an experienced baker or a passionate home baker ready to learn, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

As a PM Production Baker, you’ll play a key role in creating the delicious baked goods our customers love. Your responsibilities will include:

• Mixing and baking a variety of breads and pastries, including croissants, scones, muffins, and cookies.
• Handling dough lamination with precision and care.
• Managing heavy lifting tasks, such as moving 50-pound bags of flour and sugar, as well as large mixing bowls.

What We Are Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

• Has at least 1 year of experience in baking (preferred, but not required—we’re happy to train a passionate and motivated home baker!).
• Is comfortable working Friday through Tuesday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.
• Can handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting heavy items.
• Brings enthusiasm, reliability, and a love for baking to the table.
