Job summary

Work with VIP, Apply Today in Seattle is seeking a baggage services agent to manage arriving luggage from international flights, assist with TSA screening, and coordinate with airline staff to direct bags to the correct belts.

You will help passengers, maintain equipment, follow safety protocols, and communicate clearly with guests and colleagues. The position requires a customer-service mindset, reliability, and the ability to work the 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift in a busy airport environment.

Qualifications

• Service-based orientation and ability to work flexible schedules.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in fast-paced airport or concierge environments helps.
• Able to wear issued uniform and maintain hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Arrange arriving luggage on the carousel to improve access and space.
• Follow airline guidelines and TSA/Port of Seattle requirements for baggage handling.
• Assist airline employees to transfer baggage safely and efficiently.
• Move oversized luggage through screening as required by CBP/TSA/Port guidelines.
• Remove bags from carts and place on belts after reading tags for correct drop location.
• Communicate clearly with guests and stakeholders, in person or via devices.
• Select and use PPE as directed by policy and task risks.
• Exercise sound judgment to protect property and avoid disrupting airport operations.
• Coordinate with health, security, and emergency procedures when needed.
