Job summary

Metro Technology Centers is seeking a Substitute, Evening Aviation Maintenance Technology instructor to educate and supervise students at the Aviation Campus. The role requires delivering curriculum aligned with the ACS and state standards in a flexible, evening schedule (3pm-10pm).

The substitute instructor will foster knowledge, work ethics, and appropriate attitudes for employment, while maintaining FAA and district certifications and providing a positive role model for students.

Qualifications

  • Instruct students as part of AMT program.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer-related communication and school tech skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Present subject matter per Oklahoma statutes guidelines.
  • Deliver activities that promote active learning in classroom, lab, or work-based learning.
  • Concurrently support students at varying skill levels.
  • Maintain professional behavior and FAA/district certifications.
