Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum NC Vehicle Inspection Instructor Certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to effective teaching and safety in a college setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction via lectures, demonstrations and labs.
• Assess student learning outcomes and use results to improve courses.
• Give feedback on student progression and performance.
• Maintain accurate class records, attendance, and grades.
• Utilize technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports and communicate.
• Prepare students for the NC state inspection exam.
• Inform Dean of workforce or student issues as soon as possible.
