The role requires a relevant degree, ASE credentials, and recent automotive training, with potential for evening or weekend work and office hours to support student learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in teaching field OR Associate degree in teaching field with demonstrated competency in teaching field.
• Two years related work experience.
• ASE certified in the areas being taught.
• Recent automotive training (within the past five years) with a transcript or certification from the program.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an electronic format.

Responsibilities

• Create a learning environment that facilitates students’ acquisition of knowledge and skills.
• Align course activities with student learning outcomes and provide timely feedback.
• Deliver instruction in person or via Zoom/online and assess learning outcomes.
• Maintain at least one office hour per week per course; may include evening/weekend duties.
