Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Team Lead (Assembly) for the 3rd shift at the Greenwood, SC facility. The role leads assembly personnel, plans production schedules, ensures safety and 5S standards, and coordinates with other shifts to ensure smooth hand-offs and on-time delivery.

You will supervise assembly line operations, train new workers, and ensure adherence to quality procedures while optimizing resources and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment, immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Sustainment of 5S+ in all responsible areas.
• Provide leadership and direction of work for team, ensuring products are assembled correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain and monitor all safety protocols ensuring team is wearing proper PPE.
• Manage and supervise assembly line operations, including scheduling and task assignments.
• Ensure that team members follow defined assembly procedures and comply with quality requirements.
• Train new assembly line workers on procedures and safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing training and support to team members to achieve high standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all material storage is compliant with 5S standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
