Job summary

Quanex in Owatonna, Minnesota is seeking an assembler for the 2nd shift to assemble finished window hardware products for shipment to customers. Hours are Monday–Thursday 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

You will read orders, verify parts, check component quality, record production, inspect final parts, and prepare boxes for packing. Some machine setup and training support may be required; bonus potential, 401K with 5% company match, and paid time off are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing operations preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read order to verify parts are correct.
• Check the quality of components before assembling.
• Record daily individual or work center production quantity.
• Inspect the final assembled part.
• Assemble boxes for final packing of product.
• May assist in machine set-up as necessary.
• Assist in training department personnel with operations and procedures.
• May make minor adjustments to machines to keep them in working order.
