Job summary

Quanex Building Products Corp. is seeking a 100 Series Assembler for a 10 hour 2nd shift in Rice Lake, WI.

The role involves operating and setting up production equipment, fabricating window/door screens, and performing quality checks in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The position offers a Monday-Thursday schedule 2:30pm-1am with overtime as needed, plus a base pay of $18.50/hr with a $3/hr shift differential and potential annual raises.

Qualifications

• Production, assembly, warehouse, mechanical, or other hands-on experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Eagerness to learn and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up production equipment.
• Manually fabricate window and door screens and install screen cloth.
• Perform quality checks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Work efficiently with team members to meet production targets and improve workflow.
• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled hours.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
