Job summary

Quanex is seeking an Assembler - 2nd shift in Owatonna, Minnesota to assemble finished window hardware products for shipment to customers. This full-time role follows a Mon-Thu schedule from 3:30PM to 9:00PM with a $18.50 hourly wage plus $1 shift differential.

You will read orders, verify parts, inspect components, and assist in machine setup and training. Quanex offers bonus potential, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing operations preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read orders to verify parts are correct.
• Check the quality of components before assembling.
• Record daily individual or work center production quantity.
• Inspect the final assembled part.
• Assemble boxes for final packing of product.
• May assist in machine set-up as necessary.
• Assist in training department personnel with operations and procedures.
• May make minor adjustments to machines to keep them in working order.
