Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque seeks an Anesthesia Tech to join the OR team. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday evening schedule (12:00pm–8:30pm) and occasional flex. Under RN direction, assist in preparing anesthesia stations, manage ventilators and gas tanks, and support anesthesia providers in procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Previous OR anesthesia or EMT training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers with block insertions, difficult airway management, and rapid transfusions.
• Prepare anesthesia station and maintain inventory of supplies and medications.
• Ensure safe, aseptic environment and proper handling of gases and equipment.
