Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable Direct Care Workers to provide 1:1 in-home support to recipients in Southeast Michigan. You will work in clients' homes, offering encouragement, skill-building activities, and helping clients engage with community programs to reach personal goals.

• Must be compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home support to recipients.
• Assist with skill-building activities and daily living tasks.
• Accompany clients to community activities and events.
• Follow care plans and document progress as directed.
