Job summary

Project Chesapeake seeks a highly motivated, reliable part-time Addiction Counselor to join our outpatient team in Maryland. The role involves running OP/IOP groups, completing assessments, treatment plans, and documentation under supervision.

Qualifications include Maryland licensure (ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LMSW or LGPC), at least 2 years' experience with SUD populations, EMR proficiency, and strong documentation/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license in the specified credentials (ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LMSW or LGPC).
• Minimum 2 years' experience with a substance use disorder population.
• Computer literate with EMR experience.
• Excellent documentation & communication skills.
• Familiarity with DHMH / CARF requirements.

Responsibilities

• Run OP/IOP substance use disorder groups.
• Complete substance use disorder assessments, treatment plans, group notes, and other clinical documentation under supervision.
• Take part in a multi-disciplinary team to maintain excellent client care & treatment.
• Attain occasional trainings & maintain licensure requirements.
