Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an evening Center for Student Success (CSS) Tutor to assist and guide students through one-on-one and group tutoring sessions.

You will conduct study workshops, track visits, ensure APA writing style compliance, and collaborate with the Director and Nursing Coordinator to meet student and faculty needs.

A valid Illinois driver's license is required; the role emphasizes a supportive learning environment and opportunities to impact student success.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois driver’s license (ILSOS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete 5 hours of communication service during Fall and Spring Terms.
• Conduct study workshops/educational sessions to facilitate understanding of core courses.
• Track student visits and enter data in a timely manner.
• Maintain APA writing style knowledge and provide APA tutoring and writing reviews.
• Collaborate with the Director and the Nursing Coordinator to address student and faculty needs.
• Maintain the security and cleanliness of the CSS and monitor student use of the facilities.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
