Job summary

Amcor is seeking an EBM operator for a 2nd shift (M-F, 3 PM to 11 PM) in Winchester, VA. Responsibilities include starting/stopping extrusion blow molding equipment, inspecting and packing, and performing routine machine maintenance while following GMP and SQF standards.

The role involves lifting and moving materials, operating lift trucks, and contributing to a safe, compliant manufacturing environment. Training on 1st shift is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience following GMP and SQF compliance.
• Ability to operate extrusion blow molding equipment.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate EBM machines and lift equipment to produce quality, rigid-plastic containers.
• Inspect and pack product and perform scheduled charting on machines.
• Start and stop machines, change materials, and assist in changeovers.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication and tightening of machine assemblies.
• Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to GMP/SQF requirements.
