Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator for a 12-hour shift (7a-7p) with a four-day-on/four-day-off schedule. You will oversee safe machine operation, inspect parts, and maintain quality standards in a high-volume environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and forklift operation training. You will work across stations, assist training, and ensure accurate daily production reporting.

Qualifications

• Reading ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Randomly check parts produced every hour to ensure specifications are met.
• Monitor flow of parts into assembling machinery and storage containers.
• Tend machines and related equipment according to product standards.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Assist in training new operators as needed.
• Check finished parts for defects and report issues to supervisors.
