Job summary

Amcor is seeking a 2nd shift EBM operator in Winchester, VA to start and stop extrusion blow molding presses, inspect products, and pack containers to specification.

The role requires lifting, forklift operation, routine machine care, quality testing, and strict adherence to GMP/SQF and food safety. You’ll work as part of a safety‑conscious team to prevent nonconforming product and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating extrusion blow molding equipment.
• Proven ability to perform quality inspections and use test equipment.
• Ability to work safely with forklifts and maintain GMP/SQF compliance.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop machines to produce quality containers.
• Perform inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and tightening of assemblies.
• Pack product and stack cartons to build 4 ft units.
• Operate lift trucks to move materials safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and participate in problem solving.
• Assist in changeovers and identify out-of-spec production.
