Axiom Space seeks an energetic Mission Integration, Operations, and Training Engineer to support the EVA program with operations training products, flight ops interfacing, and model/simulation development. The team is looking for an energetic and dynamic Mission Integration, Operations, and Training Engineer who will primarily be responsible for aiding Axiom’s EVA Program with xEVAS related operations training products development, flight operations interfacing, model and simulation development, and overall mission integration tasks.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about EVA/Space Suits and takes initiative day-to-day, creating solutions and solving problems. The role requires strong organizational, time management, teamwork, and communication skills.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field; 5-10 years experience in flight operations, EVA development, EVA engineering, or similar roles.
Qualifications: Experience presenting critical information to senior managers or external advisors; track record of making things happen in ambiguous, fast-moving environments; uses good judgement to problem-solve proactively, positively impacting hard challenges; demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high quality results.
This position may require access to export-controlled technical data or technology subject to NASA regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Final candidates may be required to undergo additional export control screening to determine eligibility for access. Meeting these requirements is a condition of employment.
