Job summary

Axiom Space seeks an energetic Mission Integration, Operations, and Training Engineer to support the EVA program with operations training products, flight ops interfacing, and model/simulation development. This role involves mission integration tasks and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years in flight operations or EVA engineering, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and a proactive, organized approach to problem-solving and delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination.
  • 5–10 years experience in flight operations, EVA development or EVA engineering.
  • Experience presenting critical information to senior managers or external advisors.
  • Ability to problem-solve proactively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with good judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines with high-quality results.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily activities of the AxEVA Program Mission Integration, Operations, and Training team.
  • Generate and maintain EVA flight operations training products.
  • Work alongside engineering teams to influence design from an operations perspective.
  • Aid S&MA activities and product development from a flight operations perspective.
  • Communicate project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Implement and maintain agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned.
