Harbinger Motors in Sacramento, CA, is seeking an Upfit Integration Engineer responsible for aligning upfit configurations with chassis and body, coordinating with external upfitters, and ensuring timely, quality assemblies.

You will maintain CAD data, develop documentation, and drive continuous improvement of the Stripped Chassis Body Builder Guide while collaborating with manufacturing and ERP teams; some travel expected around 20%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of solid modeling experience with Catia V6.
• Automotive background in medium/heavy duty is preferred.
• Knowledge of stripped chassis architecture and upfit processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration with external upfitters.
• Willingness to travel ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Catia user proficient in 3D modeling and CAD data handling.
• Import and integrate body CAD with chassis CAD.
• Prepare and export CAD data, sanitizing IP content.
• Analyze upfitter specs and translate to chassis requirements.
• Maintain 2D drawings with critical dimensions for logistics.
• Develop upfit configurations and guidelines; coordinate design changes.
• Drive continuous improvement of the Stripped Chassis Body Builder Guide.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and ERP teams on configurations.
