Job summary

Holman in the United States is seeking a seasoned up-fit engineer to develop complete vehicle upgrade specifications and quotes. You will review OEM compatibility, maintain chassis knowledge, and act as the single contact for design questions, driving efficient ordering and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in automotive/manufacturing, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong MS Office/ERP capabilities. ASE training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, automotive, mathematical or equivalent experience.
• ASE training considered a plus.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office experience; ERP/MRP/BOM systems a plus.
• Experience reading electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete, accurate up-fit specifications for client needs.
• Review specs for OEM compliance and document changes.
• Maintain knowledge of chassis availability and model year changes.
• Serve as single point of contact for all vehicle design questions.
• Provide timely quotes aligned with SLA expectations.
• Offer alternatives based on OEM/supplier limitations and Holman partners.
• Research and recommend savings, safety improvements and better client applications.
• Complete price quotations on vehicle up-fit.
• Collaborate with REM to support sales during reviews.
• Communicate with sales, customers, engineering, suppliers and operations to ensure efficiency.
• Understand clients' use and application of vehicle and components.
• Finalize quotes to flow through ordering process.
• Attend OEM partner up-fitters sessions to stay current on trends.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
