Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an engineer to develop system-level electrical architectures for Class 8 vehicles. You will author technical reports and cross-functional specs for electrical subsystems and craft detailed schematics representing electromobility functions.

Familiarity with SAE J1939 and J1587 protocols is required as you collaborate in a SAFe framework with global teams, occasionally traveling within the MSA to client sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering (6 months experience).
• Familiarity with SAE J1939 and J1587 communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level technical concepts for Class 8 vehicle electrical architecture.
• Author technical reports and cross-functional specifications for electrical systems and subsystems.
• Design detailed functional schematics and block diagrams for electromobility vehicle functions.
• Develop robustengineering solutions using the SAFe Agile methodology with global teams.
• Travel occasionally within the MSA to client sites.
