Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking a Service Trainer to design and deliver hands-on EV technician training across our authorized dealer network. This role blends classroom instruction with field practice and requires development of new modules for evolving vehicle platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, 5+ years in technical roles, 2+ years with High Voltage EV systems, and strong safety expertise. Up to 50% domestic travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as a Service Technician, Automotive Trainer, or related technical role.
• Minimum 2+ years with High Voltage (HV) EV systems training/experience.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical theory, diagnostics, and wiring diagrams.
• Must hold or obtain High‑Voltage EV Safety certification (OEM/SAE/ASE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-day, instructor-led training sessions on EV topics (high‑voltage, battery, charging, powertrain, ADAS).
• Develop and maintain training modules and materials with Engineering and Publications teams.
• Create exams to evaluate technician competency and track certifications in the LMS.
• Provide field support and coaching to dealer service management and technicians.
• Ensure training emphasizes high‑voltage safety and proper use of equipment.
