Job summary

Orange EV is seeking a Service Parts Assembly Technician to build, test, and inspect electric vehicle components per drawings and instructions. You will use hand tools and measurement devices, ensuring parts fit and function correctly while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role includes identifying defects, repairing issues, and collaborating with production teams to sustain efficient workflows and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling or certification highly preferred.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing, production, or assembly environments.
• Ability to stand long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Safety protocols and procedures must be followed.
• Strong computer skills to navigate digital work instructions and records.

Responsibilities

• Assemble EV components following detailed drawings and instructions.
• Inspect finished parts and diagnose defects for repair.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow safety protocols.
• Use digital systems to track assemblies and complete documentation.
